Outfit of the Day!

If you have to be a fashion designer, why not be one in Hawaii. Roberta Oaks has built a dreamy life for herself living as a professionally trained artist and self taught designer in Honolulu. She entered the fashion scene in 2004 and has grown her business from showing her one-of-a-kind pieces at local art festivals to a global company available in over 150 stores. Her story is inspiring, but that's not all! This rising star also supports eco-friendly business practices and uses organic materials as often as possible. The Sal Knit Dress is an adorable frock made of bamboo and organic cotton. The red piping along the bust and straps gives it an extra kick and the gathered empire waist creates a playful drape that falls just above the knee. Layer the dress with a long sleeve t-shirt, a simple cardigan and a pair of fun tights to carry it into fall. It's a crisp look that will be all the rage on campus. Scroll down and check out the little peek-a-boo opening at the back.
