Why we love Stacia knits

About Stacia Knitwear~
The Product: My designs start with the fabric ~ I developed an exclusive knit that's light-weight, buttery soft, and year-round. Stacia knits are luxurious, functional, and comfortable. Perfect for the beach, for work, or for an evening out ~ all in effortless style.
Inspiration: The California beach-lifestyle and the laid-back vibe of the Islands.
Colors: From nature and my environment; always vibrant and named to evoke a place or feeling you have when you wear the color.
Fabrics: I developed a silky soft, luxurious rayon yarn in a space-dyed knit inspired by the surf-culture of the '70s. For each knit, I create a custom combination of colors that forms the unique spacedye pattern.
Quality: The same light-weight, washable quality of a t-shirt, but with the finishings of a fine sweater. Luxurious, but washable.
Signature: Space-dyed colors; exposed seaming; the hoodie; the knit dress.
Going Green : The Stacia Eco Knit Collection uses yarns made from bamboo, soybean, and seaweed - sustainable fibers that are friendly to the earth and feel good against your skin.

Trend Report - Flower Headbands

I was reading People Magazine this week, the one with that jerky guy from The Bachelor on the front. Page 134 says: Hot Trend: Floral, it gives some options that aren't really the cutest.
Here is a better option:

And for $14 you might as well get one in each color.

The Weather is Gross, Let's Travel....

It says skies are clear in Malibu right now. The Malibu Lemon Blossom scent has a blend of lemony Litsea Cubeba, flowering Angel's Trumpet, fresh herbs & salty sea breezes. Wish I could be there instead.

The weather in France is similar to Northern California right now. Cloudy, windy, rainy & cold - but we don't have the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. This French Lilac is a blend of lilac, magnolia leaves, heliotrope, ylang ylang, hyacinth & subtle notes of nectarine. I'll just pretend those twinkling lights are the Eiffel Tower.

The weather report for Brazil says it is raining & in the 90s! If I had 90 degree weather in this rain, I'd be in heaven. I'll just light this candle instead. With a cross between peach and apricot with pineapple undertones this delicious blend mingles sultry, fleshy Mango with bright, tart grapefruit. It is reminiscent of summer & makes me yearn for warmer days.
I spent a part of my honeymoon in Tuscany & have been dreaming every day of going back. I want to eat pizza in the plaza every day, stomp grapes & eat blood oranges. In this delectable blend, juicy and spicy Blood Orange is offset with subtle Strawberry and Raspberry notes and grounded in fleshy Mandarin and Italian Sweet Orange. An orange connoisseur's dream.

It was 89 degrees in Tahiti today. It was in the 50s here, and pouring rain all day. This heady, vintage-inspired blend showcases the sacred Gardenia bloom, a symbol of love, unity, grace and strength. It's sweet, smooth and slightly citrusy aroma is reminiscent of Jasmine, Sweet Orange and Tea Leaves. So much better than rain...
