Outfit of the day!

Corey Lynn Calter doesn't skimp on details. A bouquet of flowers, chains and baubles along the collar and an open back tied together with a black velvet bow, takes a casual top to great heights. Pair with your favorite jeans for a relaxed romantic look or toughen its sweetness with black leather leggings and boots.

This look features: Corey Lynn Calter Nisha Top, $196. PRVCY Denim Skinny Jean, $155.

Outfit of the day!

'Tis the season for the little black dress (LBD). As invitations for holiday parties begin to pour in you'll want to make sure this wardrobe classic is ready and waiting in your closet. After all, no wardrobe is complete without a LBD. But sometimes a little updating is necessary, which is why we love Corey Lynn Calter's interpretation of this wardrobe standard. The beaded bodice is a beautiful surprise with hints of a stunning art deco design. Still the dress remains simple, even with its intricate bead work, it holds all the qualities of what's most important in formal wear - a classic silhouette, understated details, minimal trim and of course - forever timeless.

This look features: Corey Lynn Calter Mailia Dress, $280. Necklaces both 151 Handmade, $38 & $48.

Outfit of the Day!

Remember your friend from junior high, the rebellious one that brought you out of your shell. One could say she was a bad influence, but the two of you were great friends and balanced each other out. That's what we have here - two unexpected pieces that work well together. Isabel Lu's rugged motorcycle jacket is the 'bad' influence that brings out the wild side of Corey Lynn Calter's sweet floral skirt. We love the soft chocolate leather and zippered details of the jacket. It's sharp angles and belted waist provide a striking contrast against the softness of the skirt, and it's dark autumn hues remind us of falling leaves. It's the perfect outfit to welcome the first signs of fall.

This look features: Isabel Lu Fleura Leather Jacket $495. Corey Lynn Calter Olive Skirt, $198 . Courtney Cotton Cami, $18 (30% off). Necklace $145.

Spring is in the air!!

I can't believe how long it has been! The store looks so different now, all of our spring merchandise is coming in daily & flying out the doors almost as fast. I figured with a little break in the action, I'd upload some of my favorites.

Just got a new delivery from Jamison, one of my favorites at the moment. Everything that they do is so smart & sexy!

This is the Bowie Zip dress. It buttons at the neck & then zips all the way down.
And it's only $190!
This is the Bonnie Top, the coral color is amazing, the cowl neck is stunning & it has buttons on the side that just make it to die for!

We also just got a shipment in from Violette. This is my favorite print. It is on a sheer silk, tie neck, sleeveless blouse. Amazing!
This is our Corey Lynn Calter Armoire, it is all so cute and summery! We got in a blue dress with a cute square neck & it comes with a brown leather braided belt. It's that perfect safari look that is so big right now! You can see it on the far right. We also got some great jersey dresses in, so comfy & cute, you can't go wrong!
I just saw this in OK Magazine, or People, or one of those. It was the same print, but it had this huge bow on the front. I love this style so much more, I even ordered one for myself!

Real Clothes on Real People

Mon Petit Oiseau Lecture Dress. We love pockets, especially with cute little buttons! This dress is fleece so it is all warm & fuzzy inside.
Corey Lynn Calter Suzi Roll Neck Trapeze Mini Dress. If you saw this dress in my previous post, you can tell this definitely looks a lot more white than silver in person. This is definitely what we call a 'cheater' dress. You can eat all night & let it all hang out & still look fabulous!
Eskell Miss Kate Dress. I think this is my favorite Eskell dress of the season. Obviously it would look even better with a black bra, but who is ever really prepared when trying on clothes?
Uluru Colette Sweater Dress. I think this is my favorite. Made of 100% Grade A cashmere this dress is so snuggly soft, how can you not love it?

New Arrivals this Week

Since it is Thursday and we have had a lot of good stuff come in this week, I am going to backtrack a little bit, while I have time.
A quick summary of what we have received this week:

1. Lewis Cho - One of my favorite designers.
Sleeveless Boatneck Dress in Deep Purple - probably one of the most beautiful dresses we have received in a long time. A great draping jersey that hits right at, or just below the knee.
V-Ruched Top in Wheat - like all of Lewis Cho designs, this top is amazingly flattering. A loose knit piqued wool, short sleeve, turtleneck top with 4 buttons up the back of the neck & a triangle inset at the chest.
Wrap Top in Black - that same loose knit piqued wool, elbow length sleeves, wraps with a tie at the side.
Yoke Dress in Amethyst - the prettiest silk burnout with tiny triangles and a silk lining. 3/4 length sleeves, loose fitting & a tie at the waist. Amazing!
Dolman in Cream - that same silk burnout in a cream color with a triangle print. bunched and tied at the shoulders & tied at the waist. Wear with a bright colored cami underneath & black slacks. (We recommend our Porcelynne camis!)

2.Park Vogel - Great Basics & fun Fashion pieces
Ribbon Tie Cardigan - 100% cashmere, grey cardigan that ties in the front. The collar drapes around to the front for a gorgeous & unique look.
Cropped Cardi - a black, short cashmere cardigan with black embroidery & beading. Short, just below the bust.
Henley Dress - Also cashmere (can you tell I'm addicted?) Ivory with 3/4 sleeves 3 buttons at the placket & hits at about the knee. So super cute with black tights & a black cami underneath & boots.
Embroidered Top - a gorgeous grey tencel top with black embroidery on the chest. With a squareneck. Super cute!!

3. Corey Lynn Calter - You know everything she does is CUTE!!

Suzi Roll Neck Trapeze Mini Dress - I think that says everything, but to make it even better, it has pockets! This body is a classic CLC design, but the print takes it one step beyond. Ivory with silver outlined circles all over. It is so perfect for the office holiday party.

4. Jessica Elliot - Cutest Accessories

Key to Happiness Keychain - Antique brass key w/"To Happiness" stamped on it. The PERFECT gift for anyone! Friend, coworker, sister, cousin, mom, anyone!

Fortune Cookie Necklace - Sterling silver and on a ball chain. So adorable, I got one for myself too!

Fortune Necklaces - she makes the cutest little silver fortune necklaces, with a little pearl drop at the end. I layer the "You will step on the soil of many countries" fortune with the fortune cookie. So cute!

Mini Charms - and when I say mini, I mean mini. These little charms are so adorable, you can't resist. Mini key, mini star, mini wishbone or mini ladybug. They are so cute to layer with other necklaces as just the cutest little flirt layer. I LOVE these!!
